Vicky from PROMESAS

Victoria de la Cruz (Vicky), is a European project manager & trainer in non formal learning. Engineer for profession, combining automobile industry & international youth work (more than 70 trainings so far), former EVS & ToTer, coordinator of the pool of trainers of REVE and member of SALTO & the Spanish NA for Youth pools. She will be one of two people fully involved in this project from the association "Posibilidades de Futuro" (PdF). Vicky tries to balance technology, innovation, personal development & social relations in her activities. 

"I fully believe in non formal education, the importance nowadays of self-directed learning and the L2L competences (learning to learn). In the actual context, with so much information and technology available, as well as the innovations in communication and social interactions, there is a clear change ongoing in what the people needs to learn and how they can do it. 

Several proffessionals are developing theories and studying how do we learn best, how our mind works or how to balance formal, non formal and informal learning. But we don't find so much interest in the environment, the impact it has in the learning and which elements could foster it in a creative way. Therefore the interest in this project!"
